Biography

Taj Taylor is a Jamaican-American illustrator born and raised in New Rochelle, NY. In 2014, Taj chose to study Digital Media & Design at the University of Connecticut for two years before ultimately transferring to the University at Buffalo, where they then graduated with a BA in Studio Art in 2019.

The artwork Taj creates ranges from colored portraits to black and white vector art, and they enjoy traditional creation just as much as digital. Taj's goal is to be visible as a black, queer artist and create work that shows the beauty of humanity.
